Pricing has been one of the hardest things for us to get right. Over the past months we talked to early users, other devtool founders, and studied real usage across InsForge. What we found was simple: our current three tiers were adding complexity and, in some cases, people were paying earlier than they should.
This is not aligned with our core value. Developers should be able to use InsForge and experience the entire stack on the Free tier without putting down a credit card. So we're simplifying.
TLDR
We now have two tiers:
- Free: $0/month, 2 projects with fully dedicated instances (worth about $10/month)
- Pro: $25/month, higher usage limits for serious projects, including pay as you go usage
- Existing paid plans stay the same and become legacy tiers
Why This Pricing
Our goal is to scale with our developers. We want you to start building and launching on the Free tier without worrying about billing or adding a credit card, and only pay when you are getting real additional value and need our support to scale.
We noticed many users were paying for Starter while only using what Free already covered. That meant we were asking you to pay before we earned it. We would rather let you build longer, ship faster, and succeed first. When your project grows, upgrading to Pro should feel obvious and fair.
Free Tier
Many of our early users are building or migrating their projects to InsForge. A large portion of our community is just getting started with agentic development, still learning, still pre revenue. Free should be strong enough for real use, so you can focus on building instead of worrying about limits or hosting costs.
Every Free tier user now gets:
- 2 fully dedicated instances per month (about $10 in compute credits)
- Unlimited MCP usage
- 50,000 monthly active users
- 500 MB database size
- $1 AI model credits (refreshed monthly)
- 5 GB bandwidth (refreshed monthly)
- 1 GB file storage
You can run real end to end workflows from day one without adding a credit card.
Pro Tier
Once you are running something real and need higher limits, stronger production guarantees, and support to scale, Pro is designed for you. It includes everything in Free, plus:
- 100,000 monthly active users
- 8 GB database size
- 250 GB bandwidth, refreshed monthly
- 100 GB file storage
- Daily backups stored for 7 days
- Priority email and Discord support
- Pay as you go usage for overage
Stay on Free while exploring. Move to Pro when your product is live and growing.
Legacy Paid Tier
If you are already on a paid tier, and you prefer your current plan, you can keep it exactly as it is. Your plan will become a legacy tier with:
- the same pricing
- the same limits and included features
- no migration required
As long as you do not cancel, everything stays unchanged. If you cancel, you will move to the new pricing. We do not want to force migrations or disrupt existing workflows.
Our Commitment
This is our first version of pricing, not the final one. We will listen to your feedback and adjust quickly because our success is aligned with the success of your projects.

- pricing will stay simple and predictable
- if something feels unclear, unfair, or limiting, tell us and we will fix it
